From energetic vinyasa flows, to breath-focused kundalini, or chilled-out meditation. We offer a range of classes suitable for all skill levels and interests, whether you have years of experience or are brand new to the practice.  We provide mats, blocks, bolsters and blankets.  Please see class descriptions below.

 

FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS (vinyasa)

Friday |  6:00 - 7:00pm

Relax at the end of your work week with a Friday night candle-lit vinyasa. This breath-led class uses flow sequencing to stretch, relax and release. All levels are welcome.

KARMA YOGA (community class)

Culture Athletics' Karma Yoga is a passion project taught by a network of instructors from across the city.  All of which are donating their time for the love and practice of yoga.

This donations-based class welcomes all levels and skills.  A one-hour vinyasa flow that will work up a sweat, then leave you feeling relaxed. We will explore standing and floor postures, balancing, inversions, backbends and hip openers.  And of course, we will include a super chill shavasana!  Learn new skills and expand your practice.

MINDFULNESS MEDITATION

Thursday |  7:30 - 8:30pm

Mindfulness Meditation is a mental training practice that involves focussing your mind on experiences.  Discover techniques that can benefit many aspects of your life as you take them from the cushion into your daily life. Each week we will delve into a different meditation technique to help develop the three core skills of:

- Concentration

- Sensory Clarity

- Equanimity

You will also be guided in how to grow your own personal practice. Ideal for the newbie, the skeptic as well as seasoned meditators.  Each week we will take the opportunity to unwrap a new technique through a guided practice, then some classic silent practice, followed by questions and discussion.

Morning Vinyasa

Wake up with this gentle flowing sequence that will leave you feeling refreshed for the day to come.  A slower flow class that uses movement, breath and strengthening postures to start your morning off in the best way possible.  All levels are welcome.

SLOW FLOW

Monday |  7:30 - 8:30pm

A powerful blend of both Vinyasa and Hatha practices.  Slow flow allows you to explore the breath, movement and stretch between each posture.  You may also be holding some postures for a longer period of time - this works a little deeper and targets not just muscles, but joints and connective tissue.

STRETCH + RESTORE

Sunday |  12:30 - 1:30pm

This class will focus on deeply releasing tension in muscles + tissues.  A great class for runners, athletes and anyone looking to improve their flexibility.  All levels are welcome.  Vinyasa Flow is a class curated to connect body and soul, while relaxing the mind.

VINYASA + ESSENTIAL OIL MASSAGE

Move deeper into your practice with aromatherapy healing, that will help guide you into a place of relaxed body and mind. The class builds upon slow and steady flow-sequencing to encourage the body to feel grounded and open. As the body softens, essential oil massages will be applied to melt your day away. Come for the flow, stay for the essential oil glow! All levels are welcome.

Vinyasa Flow is a class curated to connect body and soul, while relaxing the mind. The class will invite release and fluidity in motion through sequences created to link breath and movement, while leaving space for exploration.   Each class will include standing and floor postures, balancing, backbends and hip openers.  Shavasana will leave you feeling refreshed and relaxed!  Everyone is welcome.

Yoga is a must for those who love to run!  Each week's class will focus on upper body strength, lower body flexibility, balance and stability.  The class will also feature breathing techniques for relaxation, detoxification and improved lung capacity.  Open to both runners and non-runners, all levels are welcome.
